be hurting my SEO rankings. As a result, I decided to take action to ensure that
my data and SEO health would be in good shape from now and into the future.

Google Shopping Ranking Factors
Google Shopping is quickly becoming the go-to search engine for product searches
and comparison-shopping. It is a powerful tool that not only creates an
additional e-commerce platform for e-commerce websites, but also allows brick
and mortar stores the ability to create an online presence for their products.
(Google Trends: Jan. 2011 - April 2014)
As you can see from this graph, the interest in the search engine has increased
at an impressive rate and has encouraged businesses, both sm...

Google AdWords: Competitors Ads are Appearing for My Keywords
This is an extremely broad question that has been asked by our newest clients on
numerous occasions. It is easy to provide multiple factors that could be causing
this situation to occur, but when talking to a client, its tough to provide them
with a multiple factor answer instead of a clear-cut solution to the problem.
This issue could be caused by various factors such as not bidding enough on
relevant keywords or not running enough relevant keywords to be matched up with
the search query, but ...
Google Analytics Event Tracking Guide
Note: This guide is for the Asynchronous version of Google Analytics and should
not be used with other versions. This means that the code and methods outlined
in this post will not work with the recently out-of-beta Universal Analytics

How to Set Up Google Analytics
One of the most important parts of running a business is gathering customer data
CORRECTLY. A large part of my job deals with running analytics audits (primarily
Google Analytics) on brand websites to make sure that they are tracking the
right data. At the basic implementation level, the majority of the issues that I
run into revolve around sub-domain and multiple top-level domain tracking, but
surprisingly, I still run into a hand full of brands that have simple tracking
code issues involving d...
Productive Apps I Wish I Had Used In College
Procrastination is unavoidable in college and it is definitely a monster to
defeat when it comes time to study for finals. I attempted to use productivity
apps back in school and while I found uses for them, after a few weeks use, I
would completely forget they even existed on my phone. It’s tough to make a
habit of using these apps, but when you get into a steady routine they can be
extremely helpful in keeping you organized and making your life a lot easier.
The apps I mention in this post are...
30 Day Paleo Challenge Results
My 30 (technically 31) Day Paleo Challenge is finally over and I ended up
losing seven pounds while improving my five-mile and kettlebell circuit time.
While I didn’t end up achieving my weight loss goal of 12 lbs, I still feel a
lot leaner than I did before and could honestly care less about the result. Many
factors could have contributed to the reason that I missed my mark like
exhaustion from work (missed a few runs/workouts) and extended cheat days on the
weekend, but I won’t justify these ...
30 Day Paleo Challenge (Update 1)
30 Day Paleo Challenge (Start): Last week I made the jump into the real world
and I have been busy getting caught up to speed at my new position so I forgot
to post about my 30 Day Paleo Challenge progress. Today was my first weigh-in
after I started The Paleo Diet on July 1st and I have dropped 4.5lbs. I'm a
little off of my pace, but part of the reason could be the two and a half cheat
days I had last week because of the holiday. This definitely set me back a lot,
but I'm making up for it thi...
